Adaptive Surfboards

Adaptive Surfboards:

Wave Ski Surfing for the Disabled is growing in popularity. Out in the surf, you can't tell a disabled wave ski surfere from an able bodied one. Most leg and lower spinal injuries are no detriment to wave skis surfing. There are paraplegics and amputees who are absolutely ripping waves apart on a wave ski. Infinity designs has incorporated several innovations into the V-Bottom model to adapt it to different persons needs. Often a back rest (support), knee riser or foot "keeper" is utilized to help with balance and control. Steve Boehne is the founder of Infinity Surfboards with over 40 years of shaping experience. He holds European and World Titles along with a comprehensive understanding of surfboard design learned from his many years of riding and shaping such a wide variety of boards. Steve personally shapes our boards and we are in need of his specialized adaptive surfboards to teach those who want to learn adaptive ways to surf.

Hippocampe

Hippocampe:

The Hippocampe is a new type of outdoor beach chair designed for use by all persons including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. A push bar kit allows assistance when needed. The low seat of the Hippocampe makes it simple to transfer oneself between the ground and the chair. All its parts are sand and water resistant and its aluminum tubes are sleeved to stop them getting hot in the sun. A major innovation is the double width wheels designed to make movement on sand easier. There's no longer any need for massive arm muscles to move round the beach in complete freedom!
